DEPT. OF HAPPY NEWS: 'THE BLINDS' IN DEVELOPMENT AS A TV SHOW

It's true! I'm very excited to announce that THE BLINDS has been optioned for development for television by Original Film and Sony TV. You can get all the Hollywood-ish details here.

The good news is that Original Film is the force behind such film projects as the FAST AND THE FURIOUS franchise. Its TV department recently developed one of my favorite new shows, PREACHER. Sony TV, of course, is responsible for too many great shows to list here, as well as some program called BREAKING BAD that I have heard good things about and fully hope to check out one of these days I'm kidding I love that show like everyone else.

All told (is it all told? Or all tolled? I've always wondered), I'm confident they'll bring the right sensibilities to developing exactly the kind of kick-ass, blood-soaked, dark, funny, dusty, yet award-hoarding show that THE BLINDS can potentially be. 

That said, if you have casting ideas, email me or leave them in the comments. Just because I'm curious! I, of course, have my own ideas but I don't want to unduly influence you.
